Privacy notice
How we handle information when you visit this website or contact Axil Accountants LTD.
Who is responsible
Axil Accountants LTD is responsible for personal information provided in enquiries to the firm. Company number 15197485, registered in England and Wales. Registered office: 7 Bell Yard, London, England, WC2A 2JR. Contact [email protected] for privacy questions.
Information we use
When you contact us, you may provide your name, email address, telephone number, the service you are interested in and your message. Please do not include passwords, identity documents, bank details or other sensitive records in an initial website enquiry. We will agree an appropriate way to exchange client documents separately.
Visiting a website also involves technical information such as your IP address, browser details, requested pages and connection times. The hosting and network services use this information to deliver the site and protect it against misuse. There is no advertising or audience-analytics tracking configured on this site.
Why we use information
We use enquiry information to understand your request and respond. Where you ask about engaging our services, processing can be necessary to take steps at your request before entering a contract. Handling other correspondence and maintaining a secure website serves our legitimate interests in running the business and responding to visitors. We may also need to meet legal obligations. An enquiry does not subscribe you to marketing.
Who receives information
Relevant members of the Axil team handle enquiries. Technical service providers may process information needed to deliver the website and email. The review website is delivered through Cloudflare. When the live website contact form is enabled, its configured email delivery service is Resend. The public review preview does not send contact-form submissions.
Providers may operate internationally. Before live enquiry collection is enabled, the firm must confirm its provider contracts, processing locations and any required UK international-transfer safeguards. Client accounting work is covered by separate engagement and privacy information.
How long information is kept
Enquiry correspondence is kept while the enquiry is being handled and for as long as needed to resolve follow-up questions, evidence the response or meet an applicable legal obligation. If you become a client, the agreed client-record requirements apply. Technical records are limited according to security and operational needs. The firm should review information and delete or anonymise it when it is no longer needed.
Your choices and rights
Depending on the circumstances, you can ask to access, correct or erase your personal information, restrict its use, or receive information in a portable form. You can withdraw consent where processing relies on consent. These rights are not absolute and may be limited by legal obligations.
You have the right to object to processing based on legitimate interests. Contact [email protected] to raise an objection or exercise your rights. You do not have to supply enquiry details, but without suitable contact information we may be unable to respond. We do not use this website to make solely automated decisions with legal or similarly significant effects.
You can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk/make-a-complaint. We would welcome the opportunity to address your concern first.
